1. Essential cookies (always on)
These are required for the site to work and need no consent. All of them are our own, and none is used for tracking:
- __Secure-pm.session_token (pm.session_token on test sites): keeps you signed in. 30 days, renewed while you use the site.
- __Secure-pm.session_data: a short-lived signed copy of your session, so pages load faster. 60 seconds.
- pm_active_role: remembers whether you are using the artist or curator side. 1 year.
- pm_artist_profile: remembers which artist profile you are working on. 1 year.
- pm_cookie_consent: stores your cookie choice, including whether Spotify players may load, so we do not ask again. 6 months.
- pm_impersonate: only set for our support team when they view the app as a user to help with a problem. 2 hours.
2. Browser storage
pm_picks (local storage): remembers the playlists you picked for a song, so your picks survive a page reload. It stays in your browser until you send or clear the picks. It never leaves your device.
3. Optional cookies
We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The only optional part is Spotify's song player (section 4), which can set Spotify's own cookies. With "Accept all", Spotify players load on their own. With "Essential only", or before you choose, every player stays off and shows a "Load Spotify player" button instead: clicking it loads that one player, and "Always load players" saves the same choice as "Accept all". If we add other optional cookies in future, they will only run when you choose "Accept all", and this page will list them first. Choosing "Essential only" always keeps you on the essential set.
4. Other services
- Spotify players: submission and review pages can show a Spotify player for the song. It only loads after you allow it (section 3). Once it loads, Spotify receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies in that player, under Spotify's cookie policy.
- Stripe: payments and payout setup happen on Stripe's own pages, where Stripe sets cookies for payment and fraud prevention, under its own policy.
- Sentry: if a page has an error, a report is sent to our error tracker. It sets no cookies.
